A burglar made off with a jewelry box, $1,400, a laptop computer and a laptop case from a house in the 5900 block of Northwest 199th Street after smashing two interior sliding glass doors and breaking a ceramic dog figure between 8:15 a.m. and 8:30 p.m. July 3. The items were valued at $1,060. Damage was estimated at $1,515.
• PALM SPRINGS NORTH AREA
Two televisions, two laptop computers, a desktop computer, pillowcase and documents were stolen after someone pried open the rear door of a house in the 7900 block of Northwest 170th Street between 8 a.m. and 7:15 p.m. July 2. The items were valued at $7,060. Damage was estimated at $200.
