THIEVES broke into the City Learning building on the site of Unity College in Towneley Holmes, Burnley, and stole computer equipment worth £6,700.
Stolen in the break-in were four Apple Mac computers and a hard drive.
Damage costing £1,500 was also caused to the building.
•Police have charged a 23-year-old man in connection with the incident. He is due to appear at Burnley Magistrates' Court this week.
