Two Ohio University football players have been indicted for possessing computers stolen from campus buildings.

The grand jury indictments, handed down July 27, were announced today by Athens County Prosecutor C. David Warren.

Travis L. Carrie, 19, of Antioch, Calif., and Corey H. Moncrief, 22, of Jackson, Miss., both are charged with receiving stolen property.

Carrie also was indicted for tampering with evidence for allegedly deleting programs installed on a computer stolen from Ryors Hall on the Athens campus on April 19.

Moncrief was charged with possession of a computer stolen from another campus building on May 26.

Carrie is a freshman cornerback and Moncrief is a junior defensive lineman who transferred to OU from Mississippi Delta Community College, according to the OU football Web site.

Both were charged following an investigation by campus police, Warren said. OU athletics officials said the pair have been indefinitely suspended from the team.
