Twenty computers were stolen from an elementary school in Novato, police said Wednesday.
The theft occurred between 3 p.m. Monday and 5 a.m. Tuesday at Lynwood Elementary School, said Novato police Detective Trevor Hall.
The iMacs were stolen from the school's computer lab. The K-5 school has 30 computers in the lab and 106 throughout the school, or one machine per 3.7 students, according to the Novato Unified School District.
Hall said police have no suspect information. Anyone with information about the crime is asked to call the Novato Police Department's anonymous tip line at 800-848-0101.
Tipsters can also call Bay Area Crime Stoppers at 800-222-TIPS and be eligible for a cash reward if the information leads to an arrest and charges.
