Exeter birthday girl hit by computer theft

Becky Parnell and the rest of her family were asleep in their upstairs bedrooms when the thieves entered the house at Clyst Heath in Exeter.
Becky had just marked her 10th birthday and her star present, a pink Dell laptop was downstairs on the sofa, the box beside it, the charger in the kitchen.
On the front room mantelpiece was birthday cash given to Becky.
The thieves entered the house through a front window and took the lot, stopping only to add another laptop, owned by Becky's 12-year-old sister, Amy, to their haul.
