JONES, Okla. -- Several computers were stolen early Wednesday from a laboratory at a metro high school, police said.
Along with extensive property damage, officials at Jones High School reported $4,000 worth of laptop computers stolen.
Investigators believe the same people who stole $5,000 in computers from the school in 2007 are responsible for this week's theft.
Jones High School is being rebuilt after a 2007 fire destroyed the building. Thieves broke into the school afterward and stole computers.
No suspects have been identified in either burglary, police confirmed.
Officials with the Jones Public School District, the Jones Police Department and members of the Kenny Ray FOP Lodge No. 153 are joining to offer a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the computer thieves.
Anybody with information should call the Jones Police Department at 405-399-2255.
