LOOMIS (CBS13) ―
Michael Guisande is the pastor of Lighthouse Christian Center in Loomis. When he returned from a family church camp, he found his office door open and realized his computer gone.
"Then it dawned on me what was actually missing. And...I cried. I broke down. I was by myself. I was flipping out," said Pastor Guisande.
The computer is old and not worth much. It was donated to him five years ago, so he estimates its value at $100 or less.
But the sermons and church documents on the computer account for hundreds of hours of work.
"I'm missing years of work that I put in," said Guisande. "I'm just hoping someone will download the information and send it back to me or mail it back. Ask for ransom. I'd pay money for it."
Guisande believes his odds of getting the computer back are slim to none.
