Burglars smashed the rear sliding glass door and stole a video player, cameras, three laptop computers and jewelry valued at more than $7,000, along with a pillow case to hide it all. At least two neighbors told police they had seen a silver SUV in the driveway and a member of a Crimewatch team saw the overhead garage door open and closed it.
