Computer servers stolen from Lawrence business

LAWRENCE — A Canal Street business was robbed of two Dell computer server units during a burglary Sunday.

James Pellitier, owner of Fun With Wind, a kite business, told police while at his home in North Andover, his Web site server went off line.

He knew something was wrong and went to the business at 300 Canal St., and found the business door had been forced open, and the two servers were missing.

He told Officers Thomas Murphy and Keith Salach he had leased the servers from Dell recently.

None of his kite inventory was taken, police said.

The case was sent to the detective division for further investigation.

The break was reported about 9:30 p.m. Sunday, police said.
