New Brunswick man indicted in theft of computer

TOMS RIVER — An Ocean County grand jury has charged a New Brunswick man with taking a laptop computer in a burglary of a Toms River apartment in June.

The indictment, handed up Tuesday, charges Andre L. Nettles, 42, of Congers Avenue, New Brunswick with burglary and theft.

The indictment alleges Nettles entered an apartment on Route 166 in Toms River on June 1 and removed a Gateway laptop computer worth more than $500.

Nettles is free on bail. He would face up to five years in prison on each of the charges, if he is convicted.
