Police Charge 37-year-old man with Hospital Computer Theft

A 37-year-old man from Leeds has been charged in connection with the theft of a computer from St James' Hospital.
Following a public appeal to identify a man captured on CCTV from the hospital, police received a number of phone calls leading to the arrest of man from East Leeds.
He was charged on Friday (25 Sept) with burglary other than a dwelling and has been remanded in police custody.
Detectives had launched a public appeal after a PC containing vital cancer research information was stolen from the oncology wing of the hospital on 2 August 2009.
