Police seek help in finding high school theft suspects
By DAILY SOUND STAFF — Feb. 10, 2010
Santa Barbara Police detectives are looking for the public’s help in identifying several suspects who smashed their way into Bishop Diego High School on three separate occasions last month and stole Apple computers.
According to a news release from the police department, the suspects climbed a fence, and smashed windows to gain access. A police spokesman didn’t say how many computers were taken, but said school officials believe the lack of computers will “significantly impact their student’s computer learning skills.”
The thefts occurred on the nights of Jan. 6, Jan. 10 and Jan. 24. Anyone with information is urged to contact Det. John Ingram at 897-2331.
