Computers, electronics reported stolen in multiple break-ins

Three laptop computers and a TV, totaling $2,800, were stolen from a residence in the 700 block of Beech Street between 11:30 p.m. Sept. 15 and 9 a.m. Sept. 16, Columbus police reported.

Two laptop computers, a video game console, video games and a cell phone, totaling $2,300, were stolen from an unlocked residence in the 700 block of South Sixth Street between 1:30 and 9 a.m. Sept. 19, police reported.

A resident in the 300 block of East Kossuth Street told police someone broke into her residence, doing $20 in damage to a window screen, and stole a briefcase, papers and a laptop computer, totaling $1,100, between 11 p.m. Sept. 15 and 6 a.m. Sept. 16.

Someone broke into a vehicle in the 800 block of Bruck Street between midnight and 8 a.m. Sept. 15, doing $300 in damage to a window, and stole a DVD player, an mp3 player, a global positioning system, a laptop computer, DVDs and computer equipment, totaling $2,100, police reported.

Police reported someone broke into a vehicle in the first block of East Livingston Avenue, doing $800 in damage to a window and the leather interior, and stole two laptop computers, totaling $2,000, between 11 p.m. Sept. 16 and 9:30 a.m. Sept. 17.
