Thief steals school computers

Someone stole more than $4,000 worth of electronic equipment from Meaford Community School during a school event last Tuesday, police said Monday.

Three laptop computers and an LCD projector were taken between 7 and 8:30 p.m.

The three laptops are IBM Lenovo, Model R500, black. The LCD projector is a Sharp model#PG-F262X.

Two of the laptops weren't noticed missing until Thursday but police suspect they were taken when the other equipment was taken.

Police ask anyone with information that might assist them to contact Grey County OPP Const. Bob Sewell, the investigating officer or Crime Stoppers.
