Laptop computers stolen from Greeley Central High School
Wednesday, November 10, 2010
Three laptop computers were stolen from Greeley Central High School early this morning, and police are still looking for answers in the case.
The laptops, worth up to a total of $2,000, were taken from the administrative offices at the high school, located at 14th Avenue and 16th Street.
The school's alarm system rang three times before dawn, but police officers and a building manager checked doors and windows and there were no signs of anyone entering the school.
The three missing laptops weren't discovered until about 7:30 a.m., when the administrative staff opened the office.
Anyone with information about the thefts, or who may have seen someone in or near the building this morning, is asked to call Greeley police at (970) 350-9600.
