The office, on Lapwing Lane was broken into, the burglars got into the first floor and stole a plasma television and an Apple iMac computer. They also damaged four other iMacs by cutting cables as they tried to steal them.
An alarm had been sounding and officers arrived as the three burglars were putting the stolen items into a black Toyota Corolla with the registration number SL04 GNF.
A silver Volkswagen Jetta with the registration RJ58 MSV was also at the scene and the burglars managed to escape after the Jetta was pursued by officers for a short distance.
The three burglars were all men of average height and average build and they were dress in dark clothing.
Detective Constable Louise Howarth, based at West Didsbury CID, said: “It is entirely unfair that criminals steal from those who want to earn money honestly – the theft of this equipment and the damage caused by the burglars will undoubtedly have cost this firm, and its employees, time and money.”We’re keen to speak to anyone who saw or knows something so we can catch those responsible and ensure justice is done.”
Anyone with information is asked to call officers at West Didsbury Police Station on 0161 856 6090 or the independent charity Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
