Break and enters in Elm Creek and Carman

Sometime during the early morning hours of Jan. 7 there two break and enters - one in Elm Creek and the other in Carman.
Carman Area RCMP Const. Mike Nakonechny said an undisclosed amount of cash and a laptop computer were stolen from the Canada Post in Elm Creek. He said the post office was "substaintially vandalized."
A spokesperson for the post office said they will resume normal business by Jan. 10.
Copper Wire Stolen From Hydro Compound
Nakonechny also said an undisclosed amount of copper wire was stolen the Manitoba Hydro compound in Carman.
Police continue to investigate and asks if anyone has information regarding either of incidents is asked to call the Carman Area RCMP at (204) 745-6760 or Manitoba Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
