Computers and cash stolen from West Reading playgroup

Gloucester Road Playgroup will be closed today and tomorrow following a burglary at the weekend.

Police said the break-in happened between 4pm on Friday and 8.30am today after thieves smashed a window at the playgroup in West Reading.

Once inside they stole two laptops, a desktop computer, DVD player, two digital cameras and cash.

The playgroup’s website says it plans to re-open on Wednesday.
