4 held in Colonial Heights burglaries
STOCKTON - Two men and two teenage boys were arrested Sunday in connection with two burglaries at Colonial Heights School.
The Sheriff's Office reported deputies were called to the school, at 8135 Balboa Ave., after an alarm went off. When they arrived, deputies saw four people running from the school. The deputies detained the four and inspected the school, finding rooms had been broken into.
The deputies recovered stolen property, including computers, a projector, musical instruments and a portable radio. An investigation indicated there had actually been two burglaries hours apart, and some stolen property was recovered from the home of one of the teenage suspects.
Christopher Marques Torres, 20, and Carlos Roberto Hernandez, 21, were arrested on suspicion of burglary, felony vandalism, conspiracy and contributing to the delinquency of minors.
The minors were cited for burglary, vandalism, possession of stolen property and conspiracy and were released to their parents.
