TAMPA --
The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office, as well as 12 other agencies, announced a major computer theft ring bust on Wednesday.
According to Hillsborough Sheriff David Gee, officials had been tracking what they call the iGOV theft ring since March 2010.
During the course of the investigation, officials said surveillance video caught Rolando Coca and others stealing $7.4 million in computers from a military contractor's warehouse in southeast Tampa.
Investigators said the thieves used sophisticated rappelling equipment to get into the warehouse through the roof. They said the thieves cut the alarm system and spent nine hours stealing computers that were to be programmed and sent to U.S. special forces overseas.
Coca was arrested and indicted and is currently awaiting extradition from Miami to Hillsborough County.
So far, $4.7 million in stolen computers have been recovered.
