Nut-shop break-in
AKRON: Cash and a laptop computer were stolen during a break-in discovered Monday morning at the Peanut Shoppe in downtown Akron.
AKRON: Cash and a laptop computer were stolen during a break-in discovered Monday morning at the Peanut Shoppe in downtown Akron.
A Beacon Journal carrier called Akron police about 4:30 a.m. after finding a window at the South Main Street business was broken.
Police Lt. Rick Edwards said it appeared the burglar broke the window in order to unlock the front door.
Once inside, the culprit took a small amount of cash and a silver Apple computer.
