Tiffin Men Arrested For Allegedly Running Meth Lab

Tiffin police answered a call for a breaking and entering Friday at a Perry Street business-; a call that led to the discovery of a meth lab in a residence on Clinton Avenue.  The break-in, at Diverse Technology Solutions, resulted in the theft of computers, monitors, computer hardware and cash.

Police had been watching the Clinton location and another on Market Street, after receiving complaints about a meth operation. When they observed a truck being driven by a suspect who had left one of the residences, they followed it and discovered materials stolen from the breaking and entering.

After obtaining a search warrant, police found the stolen items as well as chemicals and equipment used in the operation of the meth lab.

Three Tiffin men, 46-year-old Jeffrey Barker, 27-year-old Darryl Bright the Second, and 53-year-old Donald Harsman have been charged on several counts, including obstructing official business, retaining stolen property, and breaking and entering.

Additional charges of illegal manufacturing of meth, permitting drug abuse, possession of meth, possession of drug abuse instruments and possession of criminal tools are pending. All three were being held in the Seneca County Jail for the weekend.
