UK COMPUTERS STOLEN http://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/news/blackburn/8867738.Four_vans_stolen_in_raid_at_Blackburn_firm/

Four vans stolen in raid at Blackburn firm

A COURIER firm is counting the cost of a raid in which vans worth more than £10,000 were stolen.
Thieves broke into Barcode Logistics in Blackburn, on Thursday night and took the keys to half of the company’s delivery vehicles.
Lyndsey Place, managing director of the Kenyon Street business, said: “It is hard enough being in business in this day and age without having to chase around East Lancashire looking for our vans.
“Criminals don’t care. It’s a horrible society where there is no second thought for how much work has gone in to keeping our jobs.”
On Friday, two vans were found in Withnell Fold, near Chorley.
On Monday afternoon the other two vans were found in Seascale Close, Fishmoor, and Manxman Road.
The vehicles are currently with the police while examinations are carried out.
Employee Cameron Mason was the last to leave on Thursday around 9.30pm.
Private CCTV at the premises shows two vans being driven off at 10.20pm and later on two more vans were also stolen.
Two portable cabins were also ransacked during the raid. Mr Mason said: “This has caused us considerable hardship as we are having to hire vans to cover for the missing ones. It has put 11 jobs on the line.”
The van-stealing gang may have been caught on the Greenbank Business Park ‘Business Watch’ CCTV system.
A spokesman for Blackburn with Darwen Council said the CCTV cameras at the junction of Gorse Street and Burnley Street were working that evening.
Police confirmed that property including mobile phones, two computer towers, two Mercedes Sprinter vans and two Iveco Daily vans were stolen from the locked compound overnight between Thursday and Friday.
