FORMER Labor premier Nathan Rees has had his campaign office broken into and computers stolen overnight.
Police have set up a crime scene at 43-year-old Mr Rees' Seven Hills office after a break-in was reported by a passing bus driver.
A NSW police media spokesman said a charity shop next door had also been broken into with clothes stolen.
"Police were called to an office on Best Rd after a passing bus driver noticed a window of premises had been smashed by a lump of concrete," the police spokesman said.
"A crime scene has been established and is being examined by officers."
Mr Rees, who served as Premier of NSW from September 2008 to December 2009 when he was deposed by Kristina Keneally, was re-elected in the seat of Toongabbie at last Saturday's state election.
