BREAK-INS on western suburbs businesses has netted thieves $54,000 worth of computer equipment.
Western Adelaide CIB Detective Brevet Sergeant Darren Hayes said there had been 17 attacks on businesses since February 19, including seven in the early hours of March 15.
Police have footage of the thief involved in the most recent attack, at Jeanes St, Beverley, after he was caught on CCTV on Tuesday morning.
"(The business) was broken into by smashing a front window and computers were stolen," Sgt Hayes said.
Police have recovered the car used in the robbery, which had a computer inside, and were forensically testing it.
Police had stepped up early-morning patrols in the west.
