Commercial Burglary
Location: Buena High School, 5670 Telegraph Road
Date/Time Occurred: Between 3-8-11/10:30 PM and 3-9-11/4:00 AM
Officer(s) Involved: VPD personnel
Victim(s): Ventura Unified School District
Sometime 10:30 PM and 4:00 AM unknown suspect(s) forced entry into a locked classroom on the campus of Buena High School. The suspect(s) removed several Apple computers that were used for student photography classes. Suspect(s) left the scene and the burglary was discovered in the morning by arriving school employees.
The stolen computers have an estimated value of over $35,000. Ventura Police School Resource officers and Street Crimes Unit are investigating the case and encourage anyone with information regarding the crime to immediately contact the Ventura Police Department or Crime Stoppers.
