Cops arrest techie who stole computers

Indore: The Juni Indore police on Monday arrested a hardware engineer for stealing computers.

The techie stole computers worth Rs 32 lakh from Tukoganj and Juni Indore area.

Goods worth Rs 10 lakh were recovered from his possession at the time of the arrest.

The accused himself owns a computer shop in the city.

He has been charged with selling the stolen systems to all the computer shops across the city.

The cops are now on a lookout for people who bought the stolen articles.

ASP Manoj Singh confirmed the identity of the accused as Arjun, a resident of Khajrana.

Arjun confessed during the interrogation that he had stolen computers and parts worth Rs 20 lakh from Santronics Compute of Ravi Bajaj on November 28.

He further confessed that he had also stolen cash worth Rs two lakh and computers worth Rs 12 lakh from Shagun Computers of Krishna Sharma at Silver Mall in Tukoganj.
