60 Laptops, 20 Docking Stations Stolen From Lee High School

HOUSTON -- Laptops stolen from a Houston high school have been found hidden in a child's nursery, police said.Houston police said about 60 laptops and 30 computer docking stations were stolen from Lee High School on Feb. 18.The computers later turned up for sale on Craigslist, and detectives said they were able to track them to four people.One of those four, Priscilla Fitz-Garcia, leased an apartment on Chimney Rock Road, where most of the stolen computers were found, detectives said.Investigators said 41 of the computers were lying in a baby's crib in Fitz-Garcia's bedroom. Twenty of the computer docking stations were inside a closet, police said.Detectives estimated the value of the found stolen goods at $50,000.Nineteen computers and 10 docking stations have not been found, officials said.Fitz-Garcia and the other three suspects have been charged with felony theft.
