A custodian in the Cleveland Heights-University Heights School District was charged with grand theft after police say she stole at least two school-issued computers.
Cynthia Patton, a Monticello Middle Schoolemployee, was arrested after she stole a laptop and gave it to her 21-year-old son to sell on eBay, said officials from the Cleveland Heights Police Department.
Patton, 39, is on administrative leave pending the outcome of the district's termination process, said Angee Shaker, communications director for the Cleveland Heights-University Heights schools.
Her son was charged with receiving stolen property.
