St. Louis (KSDK) -- St. Louis police arrested four teenagers they believe broke into a middle school and stole electronics. It happened at Langston Middle School on Wabada Avenue. Tuesday police tracked down four teenagers they believe were involved. They were hiding in a house across the street.
Students from the school lined up outside the house to take back the 16 computers, printers, even a biology lab mini fridge.
Langston's security alarm went off some time before midnight, but it wasn't until Tuesday that the break came leading cops across the street. On footage from the seven cameras inside the school, the security guard recognized a couple of the faces from the house
"When I came home it was some items here. They didn't tell me where they got it from and I told them to get it out of my house," said Shalla Arms, the mother of three of the four teens police took in.
"Until I see the tape of they say they actually entered then I'm not going to believe it, you know," said Arms. "But if come to find out that they are guilty, then, you know, by right they need to deal with what they did."
Police say the school was ransacked inside and whoever broke in apparently had to leave behind some of their treasures. There was a television set discarded on the roof of the school. Despite any evidence that might point to these guys, Antwanette Anderson isn't buying it.
"At the end of the day, them my brothers and I'm there for them. I'm always going to be their sister and I'm going to love them and like I'm saying free my brothers, free my baby daddy," said Anderson.
The ages of those picked up ranges from 14 to 18 according to the mother and she says one actually attends Langston.
Police think there are at least two other people involved. They are looking for them and the other stolen stuff they think they have, an empty safe and a laptop.
