KINGSVILLE - Detectives in Kingsville arrested two women accused of breaking into Kleberg Elementary School back on June 7th.
Police say they received information that stolen computers could be found in the 23-year-old Jenny Reyes Moore's home in the 400 block of West Nettie Avenue.
A computer stolen from the school and a small amount of marijuana were found in the home, according to police.
Police say 27-year-old Amanda Garcia was also arrested after a second stolen computer was discovered on West Lott Avenue.
Moore is charged with theft, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of marijuana within a drug free zone. Garcia is charged with theft and was arrested on for two outstanding municipal court warrants.
According to a release, officers expect to make more arrests in the course of their investigation.
Jenny Reyes Moore, also known as Jenny Lee Moore, has been in the news before. She was arrested in January 2010 and charged with attempted murder for the shooting of another woman after an argument at a club.
At the time, police say the victim in the case had gone to talk to Moore after the fight and tried to get things sorted out, but she was shot in the stomach instead.
Moore was found guilty of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in December 2010 and was sentenced to 10 years of probation.
