DANA POINT – Authorities are investigating an early morning break-in at the Richard Henry Dana Exceptional Needs Facility that resulted in stolen computer equipment and extensive damage, Orange County Sheriff's Department officials said.
The school was broken into and damaged sometime early Tuesday morning, sheriff's Lt. Gary Strachan said. The facility is on the R.H. Dana Elementary School campus.
The mess is all cleaned up at Richard Henry Dana Exceptional Needs Facility (ENF) in Dana Point, Wednesday, Oct. 5, 2011, after vandals caused damage to the school Monday night.

"The school was basically thrashed," Strachan said.
Authorities have not released any suspect information or damage estimates.
