Police find $30,000 in stolen computers, arrest two youths

Local police have recovered 17 laptops worth nearly $30,000 that were taken from a local school and arrested two young offenders.
The two break and enters took place on Nov. 19 and 21 at Alberni District Secondary School, states a Port Alberni RCMP press release on the incident.

On. Nov. 21 the investigation led officers to the residence of one of the suspect youths, and two young males were arrested and taken into custody.

Police are making attempts to locate and arrest a third identified young person involved in these incidents. He fled from police yesterday by jumping off the roof of the residence to evade apprehension.
