SANTA CRUZ - More than $16,000 in computers were stolen from two classrooms at Holy Cross School sometime between Friday night to early Sunday morning, police said.
Fifteen Macbook laptops and 15 iPads were stolen, said Santa Cruz Deputy Police Chief Steve Clark. Two classroom doors appeared to have been pried open as well as locked cabinets at the school at 150 Emmett St., Clark said.
The thefts were reported about 11:15 a.m. Sunday, Clark said. Police are investigating the case and have lifted fingerprints from the crime scene, Clark said.
