Pub prowler sought after Seaham theft
POLICE want to speak to this man after cash and a computer were taken from a pub.
Officers are appealing for information after the theft at the Mallard pub, in Stockton Road, Seaham.
While a member of staff was working in the garage at the back of the building, a thief walked in through an open rear door, which leads in to the lounge.
He walked behind the bar and went up to the till, taking a money bag and loose coins in a glass containing about £30.
The man went into the pool table area and approached its bar, where he unplugged a laptop computer, before leaving through the same door.
Police investigating the incident would like to speak to this man. He is white, aged between 20 and 25, clean shaven and has dark hair.
The theft happened at about 11.30am on Thursday, November 10.
