VISALIA, Calif. (KMPH) - Three men are in jail after police say they caught them red-handed with computers stolen from a couple of South Valley schools.

Visalia Police say Joaquin Javier Martinez, Christopher Sapien and Erwin Candido teamed up to break into Golden West High School and Mineral King Elementary a few weeks ago.

Investigators say the three also tried to sell the stuff they stole in those heists, including 14 computers which police say they found after serving search warrants at all three men's homes.

Detectives say they also found several bundles of cocaine at Martinez's house.

Police say all three are active gang members.

They were booked into the Tulare County Jail on a variety of burglary and drug charges.
