WATSONVILLE - A computer was stolen from Starlight Elementary in a burglary early Monday morning. Police said they were unsure if it was related to three other school burglaries in late November that targeted computers in Corralitos, Aptos and Live Oak.
About 4:35 a.m. Monday, someone broke in to a classroom through a window at the school at 225 Hammer Drive, said Watsonville police Sgt. Saul Gonzalez. An alarm tripped and a computer was taken.
Police said there was no suspect information.
The night of Nov. 26 or early Nov. 27, Bradley Elementary School in Corralitos, Mar Vista Elementary School in Aptos and Live Oak Elementary School were burglarized.
Someone tried to steal computers at all the schools but were only successful in Live Oak. Equipment was secured to furniture at the other schools.
