Computers stolen from Chief Kitsap Academy found in Bremerton man's house

JANUARY 15, 2013 · UPDATED 11:44 AM
SUQUAMISH — A Bremerton man was arrested for possessing stolen property and methamphetamine Jan. 11.

Henry W. Nichols, 50, is charged with second-degree possession of stolen property and possession of methamphetamine.

Kitsap County Sheriff's deputies and Suquamish Police responded to a burglary at Chief Kitsap Academy on Sandy Hook Road in Suquamish in late December.
Surveillance showed the building was burglarized three times between Dec. 24-26.
According to the report, two Dell computers, a large TV and "other items" were taken in the burglary.

The computers contained GPS, and Suquamish police and the school's IT department tracked the location. According to the report, the IT department also noted the computer username was changed from the principal's to another name.

According to the report, the location of one of the computers was pinned down Jan. 5 in Bremerton, near the suspect's residence. An internet search of the new username found a Facebook account for Nichols.

Deputies found Nichols and the computer at his residence Jan. 11. Nichols allegedly told deputies he bought the computer the previous week from a man he thought was from Suquamish. According to the report, Nichols said he was unaware the computer was stolen but did say the computer was "locked up" when he bought it.

The deputies also found methamphetemine, baggies used to deliver and a scale in Nichols' home
