Life-saving computer stolen at Scooter’s Pals

We had a theft recently of our new computer, modem and monitor from our Scooter’s Pals office on Joerschke Drive in Grass Valley.

Up until we saved to buy this new computer, everything Scooter’s Pals has was donated to us. We saved up to purchase a highly functional computer built to be of particular help to our dogs’ needs. That would have allowed us to communicate quickly and easily with each other and with our vets.

Timing is very important in saving animals’ lives and communicating with each other and with our vets.

We have changed our locks, and we will start saving again for a computer to help us network our dogs into new loving homes.

It is a sad day when someone feels good about stealing from an all-volunteer charity that helps homeless, abandoned dogs stay alive and find new homes. I want to thank the Grass Valley Police Department and Officer Doug Clark and others who are making every effort to find our equipment. If it can be found, I’m sure they will find it.
