80 laptops valued at more than $35,000 stolen from Frostburg State University
FROSTBURG — Thieves entered the Guild Center of Frostburg State University early this month and stole 80 laptop computers worth more than $35,000, according to the C3I Unit.
The incident occurred sometime between June 4 and 5 when perpetrator(s) entered several private of-fices and classrooms.
Inventory determined 79 Hewitt-Packard Mini 101 laptop computers were stolen along with one Apple MacBook Pro laptop computer.
Anyone having information about the location of the stolen laptops or the identity of the perpetrator(s) may contact Allegany and Mineral County Crime Solvers at 301-722-4300.
A reward of up to $1,500 is offered by Crime Solvers for information leading to an arrest in the case.
Callers may remain anonymous and do not have to appear in court.
The C3I Unit is continuing to investigate the burglary at the university.
