An IT developer was knocked unconscious and tied up while robbers raided the business where he was working.
The robbery happened as the 25-year-old victim was working late at the IT support company on Caspian Road, Broadheath on Sunday 27 October 2013.
At about 11pm, the offenders prised open a locked front door helping themselves to the high value laptops.
They then went back in and this time approached the office where the man was working.
They pointed a gun at him and told him to lie down before pushing him off his swivel chair and demanding iPads.
The man tried to get up but felt a blow to his back of his neck and was knocked out.
Once he came round, one of the offenders kept him pinned to the floor with the swivel chair while tied his hands with computer cable.
The robbers left the victim tied up and stole 140 items including iPads, iPad minis, MacBooks, Apple Mac computers as well as other laptops.
One of the men was 6ft tall, of medium build and wearing a light coloured tracksuit and light coloured hat.
Another was about 5ft 8in tall, of stocky build, wearing a two tone jacket with the hood up.
The third man was wearing a balaclava, was about 5ft 8in tall, of slim build and wearing a dark jacket and trousers.
Police have now released images from CCTV of the offenders.
Detective Constable Paul Walls said: "We believe these men must've been using a vehicle given the volume of property they managed to steal, so we appeal to anyone in the area who may have seen a car or a van parked near Anchorage Court.
"This was a terrifying ordeal for this man who was simply doing his job.
"These robbers have targeted a business which is made up of hard-working dedicated staff, and we are determined to find whoever did this.
"Several thousand pounds worth of equipment has been stolen. Local businesses like this often need our help the most.
"I therefore urge anyone who may have any information to call police as soon as possible."
Anyone with any information is asked to call police on 0161 856 1718 or the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
