ATLANTA SCHOOL ROBBED OF COMPUTERSGuns, drugs, thefts keep school police busy: "On Dec. 16, North Gwinnett School police were investigating a burglary ring involving a student who fenced four stolen school laptop computers.
Police records show the student gave the laptops to another party and asked for $150 per laptop if they were sold. Only one laptop was recovered in the investigation. An arrest warrant for the suspects was sought for theft by receiving stolen property.
Police were trying to determine if the crime was related to a theft in November. At that time, police said five laptops and 'a large amount of money' was stolen by some students at North Gwinnett."
