The Media Africa Group, publishers of The Business Tribune and The Weekend Tribune, is merging the two titles into one called The Tribune because of financial problems.
MAG chief operating officer Mr Kindness Paradza said in a statement yesterday they were facing financial problems since some computers and accessories were stolen from their newsroom at the beginning of last month.
"The situation is slowly getting back to normal, but the cost of replacing the computers has had a severe impact on our cash-flow making it almost impossible to economically publish two newspapers," he said
