Alert employees of an Ann Arbor office building on Saturday led police to a suspected burglar who had a laptop computer shoved down the front of his pants, city police said.
Employees of an office building in the 2000 block of Commonwealth Boulevard called police Saturday and said a suspicious man in the building claimed he was a janitor, reports said.
Officers saw a man matching the description walking from one of the buildings. Police found a computer cord, screwdriver, other tools, latex gloves and a laptop computer in the man's pants, reports said. The computer was stolen from the Ave Maria School in the same complex, reports said.
The man was on parole for larceny and was wanted on a felony warrant, reports said.
He was lodged at the Washtenaw County Jail. "
