Computer thieves held

CRIME:Two members of a computer theft gang were yesterday arrested in the Lad Yao area.

Amnart Phanthongsuk, 25, and Natthapong Mani, 20, were arrested in front of an apartment block on Soi Suksant 28 in Lad Yao district. Police seized 16 CPUs, 4 computer monitors, 2 screw drivers, 14 pawn tickets and a pick-up truck from them.

The two and another accomplice, who is still at large, were being sought for a series of computer thefts in the capital. They have mostly targeted schools. The stolen computers and accessories were sold to shops at the Pantip Plaza.
