SILVERTHORNE - The Silverthorne Police Department is looking for people who have information on several computer thefts that occurred during operating hours at three local businesses.
The first two occurred between 2:30 and 5 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 15, at the RE/MAX real estate office on Blue River Parkway when someone entered the business through the rear of the building and stole laptops off the desks in two offices.
The next day, police received another report of a laptop stolen from the same building, at a business located two doors down from the entrance to the real estate office.
The most recent theft was reported Monday, Sept. 12, from the Summit Ford Car Dealership on Buffalo Mountain Road.
During a morning sales meeting someone entered the business through the front door, walked into an office and stole a laptop computer. The thief proceeded into a second office and stole a camera, then took a second laptop from a third office and took $75 from a second-floor room.
'The proximity of these two locations and the items stolen lead us to believe we may be dealing with the same suspects,' Silverthorne police"
