FOUR CHARGED IN BURGLARY: State police have charged four men with burglarizing the Greenwood Mennonite School last weekend. Three of the men also have been charged with breaking into the school on the weekend of Sept. 16, when cash and four computers were stolen, police said. During last weekend's burglary, the men stole cash, another computer and a lizard, as well as causing extensive damage inside the school and writing racial slurs on the wall and on a dry-erase board, police said. Charged in both burglaries were Charles S. Workman, 18; Robert J. Thomas, 19; and Brandon Willey, 19, all of Greenwood. They each face two counts of third-degree burglary, two counts of felony theft, two counts of criminal mischief, two counts of second-degree conspiracy and one count of a hate crime. Devon R. Lones, 19, of Harrington, was charged with third-degree burglary, felony theft, criminal mischief, second-degree conspiracy and a hate crime in connection with the October burglary. Police recovered the computers and the lizard. The men were released on secured bail pending further court action.
