LAPTOPS STOLEN: Somebody broke into a secured trailer at a business in the 1000 block of Sixth Avenue North and stole 48 Dell laptop computers. The thefts were discovered Wednesday morning. Police found a chain-link fence had been cut so the laptops, still in their cartons, could be carried away by the thief or thieves without being seen from vehicles passing on the street.
RENTON
COMPUTER STOLEN: A computer and accessories valued at about $1,360 were stolen during a burglary of a room at the Best Value Inn, 3700 E. Valley Road, Tuesday. The computer belonged to a Washington, D.C., woman who was in the area for her traveling business. There were pry marks on the door and door jam. Damage was estimated at $200. Police have a suspect.
