Burglary
A safe containing checks, cash and a digital camera valued at $300 was stolen from Motherhood Maternity, 813 N. Mayfair Road, between 6 p.m. Dec. 14 and 8:09 a.m. Dec. 15.

A laptop computer valued at $3,000 was stolen from Carpet Smart, 11940 W. Ripley Ave., between 7:30 p.m. Dec. 16 and 8:15 a.m. Dec. 17. Entry was gained by prying open the front door.

A 20-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested on allegations of breaking into Frascona Buick, 11221 W. Burleigh St., at 9:30 p.m. Dec. 16 and stealing a computer. The man was a former employee laid off in November, according to the report.
