Further to the press release of yesterday appealing for information regarding the whereabouts of stolen computers from Thrybergh Comprehensive School, Rotherham, 5 of the 6 local youths arrested in connection with burglary at the school are to appear before Magistrates this morning. No further Police action will be taken against the 6th youth in relation to this matter .

The youths, aged 14 - 17, who are all either pupils or ex pupils at the School are to appear before Rotherham Magistrates Court this morning, Thursday 5 January, 2006, charged with burglary and theft.

So far, none of the computers or other stolen equipment has been recovered by Police, despite an appeal to any members of the public who may have unwittingly bought a computer not realising where it had originated from.

Police are still appealing to anyone who may have unwittingly bought one, not knowing where it had come from, to contact them or hand it in to the nearest Police Station.
